How Can Overseas Investors Participate in the Trading of International Futures Products?

There are four ways for overseas traders to participate in the trading of international futures products (Crude Oil, TSR 20, LSFO, Iron Ore, PTA) :

1)  Directly participate in trading at the Exchange as an Overseas Special Non-Brokerage Participant (“OSNBP”).

2)  Participate in the trading as a Client of an Overseas Special Brokerage Participant (“OSBP”).

3)  Participate in the trading as a Client of a domestic Futures Firm Member in China (“FF Member”).

4)  Participate in the trading through an Overseas Intermediary (“OI”) , which will execute the Client’s orders via a domestic FF Member or an OSBP. In addition, OIs are also allowed to introduce overseas traders to an FF Member to trade as a Client of the FF Member.

Please pay attention that the clearing and settlement of the aforementioned OSNBPs and OSBPs will be handled through domestic FF Members.
